Mlukhiyye Seeds (Corchorus Olitorius) ملوخية
Mlukhiyye or Molokhia, also referred to as Jute or Egyptian Spinach is a plant in the mallow family used to make delicious stews and is known to be very good for digestive health. Once the stalks dry, they can also be used to make jute products.
We also sell dried mlukhiyye when available, grown with organic inputs and harvested, washed, and dried by hand.
How We Harvest
All seeds sold in the shop are saved from each year’s harvest on the farm. We are continually working on expanding our seed collection, but for now we focus mostly on mlukhiyye. It gives seeds abundantly for the next year and germination rates are tested before we ship out.
