Join a CSA
The idea of a CSA is that of a community pledging support to a farm, so that the risk of production is shared among the community and the community has either a spiritual or material connection to the farm. Fortunately, soap production is relatively low risk, but what makes a CSA different from individually placing orders is that you commit to a length of time to receive the good, you pay upfront for that length of time, and you do not choose exactly what you receive in your share (in this case with the exception of lifestyle requirements such as vegan, vegetarian, allergies to certain herbs or essential oils, etc). Everything grown on the farm is organic and utilizes regenerative practices! As many soap materials as possible are sourced locally (botanicals, tallow, goat's milk, etc.)
This CSA is soap based, with a full seasonal share of 9 bars at $80 (3 bars a month/$27). You can pay through the website for your share after signing up, through Zelle at saboonmaazeh@gmail.com, or with venmo, cash, or check (e-mail me please and indicate in the comments section of the sign-up form).

A seasonal share may include a solid dish soap, a shampoo and conditioner bar, a medicinal salve, a shave bar, a facial cleansing bar, a laundry soap, smaller soaps for washing your hands and or traveling, and a plethora of different body bars (tallow, goats milk, olive oil, olive oil and laurel soaps, and many of other types of vegan bars). I will send an e-mail before the pick up date informing you of the contents of the share.

Most soaps are body bars, but if you’d like more or less of a certain type (ie charcoal), feel free to let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
Please take advantage of the time before the CSA starts to write me if you know you are not interested in a certain type of soap, for example, "Hi Joy, I love my shampoo too much to try a new one, please save my bar if you are including these one month and give me an extra of something else!" or “Joy can I get two salves and two facial bars please?”

You always have the option to add on more soap or something else from my shop to your share--you can write a note that you'd like to pick up everything together and choose the same pick up option at checkout.

If you live in New York, you have five options for a CSA pick up!
Pick up is available in NYC, Goshen, Warwick, Kingston, and Troy. See the CSA Pick Up Schedule for dates and locations.

If you live in Texas, you have two pick up options! One in Austin and one in the Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg.

You can still sign up for the CSA and have your order shipped to your address. If you'd like to get a group together to save on shipping, I am happy to accommodate this as well. Just add a note in your order or write me an e-mail.
